On board the Type 81 general purpose frigate Eskimo (1961) berthed on the south side of No. 3 basin in Chatham Dockyard. The photographer is in the communications control room (transmitting) (CCR(TX)) between 43 and 45 stations on the port side of 3 deck looking aft and to starboard from 44 station showing a cooling unit, two Redifon panels and a row of open/shut hand levers against the forward bulkhead. The open door in the starboard bulkhead leads to the junior rate's mess. A fire main and hose basket are just inside the mess door. A vertical format negative.
