The Type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in No. 8 dry dock in Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth. The ship was in the dock from 5 August to 7 September 1971. The photographer is on the floor of the dock looking to starboard and slightly aft showing the port A bracket, propeller and rudder. Divers' search lines have been painted on the hull.
