The Type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Admiralty Floating Dock No. 58 (1957) in No. 5 Basin in Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth. The ship was in the floating dock from 12 February to 21 December 1970. The photographer is on the floor of the dock under the hull looking forward from between the rudders showing the 'C' sentries fitted to the hull above the two propeller shafts. The propellers are not fitted and scaffolding is around the shafts.
