The Type 12 frigate Rhyl (1959) in Admiralty Floating Dock No. 58 (1957) in No. 5 Basin in Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth, Devonshire. The ship was in the dock from 12 February to 21 December 1970. The photographer is on the floor of the dock looking to starboard and up at the 40 ton fire and bilge suction inlet and the auxiliary circulating pump suction inlet between 49 and 41 stations on the port side of the hull. Two men are holding a name and scale stick against the hull.
