The County class guided missile destroyer Hampshire (1961) in the fitting out basin of John Brown & Co Ltd at Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire. The ship is berthed port side to the quay. The photographer is on a raised position on the quayside abreast the superstructure at 01 deck level looking forward and to starboard showing part of 'A' turret on the left, 'B' turret on 01 deck and the forward part of the superstructure including the bridge wing and the command platform. The shipyard erecting shop is in the background.
