The forefunnel, mainmast, after funnel, Mk 21 close range blind fire director and Type 901 radar director looking aft and to port from abreast the MRS3 director at 03 deck level.
The County class guided missile destroyer Hampshire (1961) in the fitting out basin of John Brown & Co Ltd at Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire. The ship is berthed port side to the quay. The photographer has been lowered from a crane to a position just off the starboard side of the ship abreast the MRS3 director at 03 deck level. He is looking aft and to port showing the forefunnel, mainmast, the starboard 27 feet motor whaler and 25 feet motor cutters, the after funnel, the starboard Mk 21 close range blind fire director and the type 901 radar director. The accommodation ladder is fixed to the guardrails and an awning has been rigged over 01 deck between 58 and 84 stations. The top of the mainmast is out of the picture.
