A distant starboard side view of the Cunard Line cruise ship Franconia (1923) at anchor in an unknown bay.
A distant starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Franconia (1923) at anchor in an unknown bay. She is in all-white livery, her starboard anchor is deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged at a shell door amidships. Lifeboats 1 and 17 have been launched and two of the ship's boats are in the water close to Franconia. The photographer is in an elevated position above some trees on the shore. The land on the far side of the bay is relatively low-lying.
