A port very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Franconia (1923) anchored in the Humber River at Corner Brook in the Bay of Islands, Newfoundland. She is in all-white livery, has her starboard anchor deployed and has an accommodation ladder rigged to her shell doors amidships. A number of boats are close to her accommodation ladder and are shuttling between the ship and the shore.
