A starboard side view of the Cunard Line cruise ship Franconia (1923) in an unknown location.
A starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Franconia (1923) in an unknown location. She is in Cunard livery with a black hull and white upperworks. Her starboard anchor is suspended from the hawse but she is not displaying the anchor ball daymark from the forestay or the Blue Peter and she may be getting under way. A cabin cruise is motoring close to her hull and further aft are a number of small boats that look like sampans, indicating that she may be in far eastern waters. Her stem bar is very close to the edge of the negative.
