She is in Cunard livery of black hull with white upperworks and has an accommodation ladder rigged to her shell doors amidships. The photographer is on shore in an elevated position overlooking the rooftops and the harbour wharves. Alongside on e of the wharves on the right is a Straits Steamship Company passenger/cargo ship.
