A starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Cunard Line cruise ship Franconia (1923) at anchor in open water. She is in all-white livery and her port anchor is deployed. An accommodation ladder is rigged to her shell doors amidships and two boats are alongside it. The photograph is said to be at North Cape, Norway, but this cannot be proven. The film format does not conform to any other negatives in the Waterline Collection that were taken at the North Cape.
