On board the County class guided missile destroyer Hampshire (1961) in the fitting out basin of John Brown & Co Ltd at Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire. The photographer is in the hawser reel store between 38 and 43 stations on the port side of the centreline on 1 deck looking aft and to port showing various shackles and empty hawser reels against 'B' gun turret support trunk. A small workbench fitted with a large vice is against the outer bulkhead and oil fuel hoses are stowed under the deckhead and on the deck. The same image as negative number N18008.
