On board the County class guided missile destroyer Hampshire (1961) in the fitting out basin of John Brown & Co Ltd at Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire. The photographer is in the hawser reel store between 38 and 43 stations on the port side of the centreline on 1 deck looking forward and to starboard showing various shackles and empty hawser reels against 'B' gun turret support trunk. A length of large link chain and a small workbench fitted with a large vice are against the outer bulkhead. A large two-drum cable reel is on the deck. The same image as negative number N18009.
