On board the County class guided missile destroyer Hampshire (1961) in the fitting out basin of John Brown & Co Ltd at Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire. The photographer is in the chief petty officer's mess between 50 and 58 stations on the port side of 1 deck looking forward and to port from the door showing an electric fire, a cushioned cupboard and a drinks unit against the forward bulkhead. Five easy chairs are in the centre of the mess which is also fitted with kit lockers and tripe tier bunk units. A clock is reading 10.02. The same image as negative number N18011.
