On board the County class guided missile destroyer Hampshire (1961) in the fitting out basin of John Brown & Co Ltd at Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire. The photographer is in the television and sound reproduction equipment compartment between 84 and 90 stations on the port side of 1 deck looking forward showing a long table with a microphone in the foreground and two small tables, each with a single chair, are in the centre of the compartment. A sound reproduction console, a receiver unit, a telephone and an automatic emergency lantern are against the forward bulkhead. A number of loudspeakers are alongside the door to the compartment.
