On board the County class guided missile destroyer Hampshire (1961) in the fitting out basin of John Brown & Co Ltd at Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire. The photographer is in the crew's dining hall between 144 and 157 stations on 1 deck looking aft and slightly to port from 145 station just to starboard of the centreline showing ten tables and bench seats between the missile embarking trunk on the left and the cable store on the right. A row of full height cupboards are against the aft bulkhead and a whereabouts exploded diagram of the aft end of the ship is fixed to one of the cupboards. The same image as negative number N18078.
