On board the County class guided missile destroyer Hampshire (1961) in the fitting out basin of John Brown & Co Ltd at Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire. The photographer is in the asdic control room between 53½ and 58 stations on the centreline of 2 deck looking to starboard showing a cupboard and the three positions R, S and T against the forward bulkhead. An asdic type 177 fuse panel, a pitometer log speed repeater and an operator's console are against the starboard bulkhead. A cupboard with an unknown piece of equipment on it is against the aft bulkhead. The same image as negative number N38601.
