The photographer is in the asdic control room between 53½ and 58 stations on the centreline of 2 deck looking to port showing a cupboard with an unknown piece of equipment on it and an interphone switch and control box against the aft bulkhead. The ship's helicopter state board, a CO² fire extinguisher and an automatic emergency lantern are on the door screen. An asdic type 177 starter box, an asdic type 162 resistance box and another asdic type 162 box are against the port bulkhead. A cupboard and the position R are against the forward bulkhead.
