The photographer is in the operations room between 58 and 67 stations on the centreline of 2 deck looking aft and to port from the starboard side showing an action information communications console and visual display unit in the foreground. Against the aft bulkhead are the fleet disposition and radar jamming state board, two illuminated stateboards, a fleet disposition board and a main communications desk equipped with a morse key. Near the port side is an Admiralty Research Laboratory plotting table with wooden covers. Next to the door in the port bulkhead is an automatic emergency lantern and the starter panel for the marker cabinet, the operations room display and the two plotting tables.
