On board the County class guided missile destroyer Hampshire (1961) in the fitting out basin of John Brown & Co Ltd at Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire. The photographer is in the Seaslug missile traverser space between 139 and 163 stations on the centreline of 2 deck looking aft and to starboard from the port side at about 157 station showing the chain driven traversing gear at deck and deckhead levels. The two missile tracks are not in view. The starboard loader compartment door is in place but the port one has been slid open. The same image as negative number N38628.
