On board the County class guided missile destroyer Hampshire (1961) in the fitting out basin of John Brown & Co Ltd at Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire. The photographer is in the electronic maintenance room between 58 and 67 stations on the starboard side of 3 deck looking to starboard from the port forward corner showing three workbenches, two of which are fitted with vices. There are high level cupboards round the room and an electric fire and a fuse panel are against the forward bulkhead. Another electric fire is fitted to the end of a desk in the lower right foreground and a key cabinet is in the upper right foreground. The same image as negative number N38667.
