The photographer is in the U.H.F. room between 72 and 81 stations on the centreline of 3 deck looking forward and to port showing a transformer, a voice control circuits panel, three type 691 transformers, six type 691 switches and three 36-way junction boxes against the forward bulkhead. In the centre of the room is a worktop with a cupboard below. Against the port bulkhead are two Admiralty pattern control drawer units and further units of this type can be seen in the inner room through the open door in the forward bulkhead and also against the starboard bulkhead.
