On board the County class guided missile destroyer Hampshire (1961) in the fitting out basin of John Brown & Co Ltd at Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire. The photographer is in the electrical fitting shop between 72 and 78 stations on the starboard side of 3 deck looking to starboard and slightly forward showing workbenches against all three bulkheads. The bench against the forward bulkhead is equipped with two Fortis F6 vices whereas the bench against the aft bulkhead has two Record 83 vices. The bench against the starboard bulkhead has a vice of unknown origin and a large number of Osram electric light bulbs are stacked at the back of the bench. Duckboards and an empty cable reel are on the deck. The same image as negative number N38673.
