On board the County class guided missile destroyer Hampshire (1961) in the fitting out basin of John Brown & Co Ltd at Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire. The photographer is in the refrigerating machinery space between 128 and 136 stations on the port side of 3 deck looking aft showing the machinery on the port side of the space. The starter panel, pipework and hand regulators are against the inboard bulkhead. A washdown tap and an automatic emergency lantern are against the aft bulkhead.
