On board the County class guided missile destroyer Hampshire (1961) in the fitting out basin of John Brown & Co Ltd at Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire. The photographer is in the telemetry recording compartment between 136 and 140 stations to starboard of the centreline on 3 deck looking to starboard and aft showing a cabinet of receiving and recording units for the Seaslug director and its type 901 radar. A workbench with drawers and cupboards below and cupboards above are against the starboard bulkhead. A two drawer filing cabinet is in the starboard aft corner.
