The photographer is in 'A' shell room between 29 and 38 stations on 4 deck looking aft and to starboard showing a telephone, a microphone and two loudspeakers for armament commands and armament broadcast on the right. Empty shelving racks for ammunition and explosive ordnance, including 3 pdr. saluting gun ammunition, is against the aft bulkhead. An ammunition hoist and a shell room contents board are in the centre with a portable stool and a drinking water tank next to them. Shell racks are against the forward bulkhead.
