On board the County class guided missile destroyer Hampshire (1961) in the fitting out basin of John Brown & Co Ltd at Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire. The photographer is in the gyro compass room between 69 and 72 stations on the centreline of 4 deck showing the gyro compass in the centre. A gyro compass switch panel and an A.G.M.C. type G console are against the bulkhead behind the compass. A motor generator, an A.G.M.C. frequency meter, two motor starter panels and a telephone are against the far bulkhead. The same image as negative number N38730.
