The photographer is in No. 5 pump space between133 and 136 stations on 4 deck looking to port and slightly aft showing the starboard propeller shaft in the foreground with a Cooper split roller bearing on it. A pump is in the centre of the compartment and the port propeller shaft is on the port side. A cable hanger, a loudspeaker and an automatic emergency lantern are against the forward bulkhead.
