The photographer is in the steam turbine room between 90 and 106 stations on the starboard side of 4 deck looking forward and to port showing a mass of lagged pipes connected with the starboard turbine. In the foreground is a large valve with the controlling arm being fitted in an universal joint. A motor starter panel manufactured by Allen West & Co Ltd of Brighton is on the right and in the centre background are four deaerator circular gauges. The same image as negative number N38763.
