The County class guided missile destroyer London (1961) in a dry dock at the Neptune Works of Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd at Wallsend-on-Tyne. The photographer is standing on the floor of the dock to starboard of the centreline keel blocks looking up at the underside of one of the four starboard stabilizers. A scale stick is being held against the trailing edge of the stabilizer fin.
