The ship is moored starboard side to the berth. The photographer is standing on the port side of 02 deck at 112 station looking forward and to starboard showing the mainmast. A ventilator for the gas turbine engine room is in the foreground. The dish aerial of the Type 278M height finding radar is fixed to the back of the mainmast and the single bedstead AKE1 aerial of the Type 965 early warning radar is at the top of the mast. Various radio and television aerials and boat stowage lights project from the each side of the mast. A vertical format negative.
