The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the passage between 60 and 87 stations on the starboard side of 02 deck looking forward showing the boiler uptake space bulkhead on the left with cabins beyond the step in the passage bulkhead. More cabins are on the right and another cabin is at the forward end of the passage. A tannoy loudspeaker and two automatic emergency lanterns are in the passage. A vertical format negative.
