On board the County class guided missile destroyer London (1961) alongside the fitting out berth at the Neptune Works of Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd at Wallsend-on-Tyne. The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the diving gear store between 96 and 98 stations on the centreline of 01 deck showing three sets of breathing apparatus on a work bench and two sets are under the bench. A Paramo vice is fitted on the bench and the S.A.B.A. charging panel is against the bulkhead. Drawers and shelves are under the bench and pigeon hole units and more shelves are above the bench. A vertical format negative.
