On board the County class guided missile destroyer London (1961) alongside the fitting out berth at the Neptune Works of Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd at Wallsend-on-Tyne. The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is probably in the C.P.Os and P. Os W.Cs between 71 and 79 stations on the port side of 1 deck but this is not certain. A stainless steel wash basin is on the right with a soap dispenser and a Bowater Scott paper towel dispenser above it. Two urinal stalls are next to the basin and a further three urinals are on the left. A vertical format negative.
