The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the television and sound reproduction equipment compartment between 84 and 90 stations on the port side of 1 deck looking forward from behind the broadcaster's desk at the aft end. Tables and many tubular steel chairs are on the deck and a television set is on one of the tables on the right. Against the forward bulkhead are a telephone, a loudspeaker, an automatic emergency lantern and radio receiving and broadcasting equipment, including a 62B receiver. Three loudspeakers are against the inboard bulkhead.
