The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the communication control room between 99 and 106 stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking forward and to starboard from the doorway. Control circuit exchange units are against the annexe bulkhead on the left. Cupboards are against the side of the ship and a communications desk equipped with a morse key is in the starboard forward corner.
