The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the cross passage between 106 and 110 stations on 1 deck looking to port from the starboard side showing a desk with a hinged side flap and three steel lockers for stretchers against the forward bulkhead. Glass fronted notice board cabinets are against the aft bulkhead. The rum issue barrel is on the deck between the doors of the electronic warfare office and the engineer's spare gear store. On the port side of the passage are a fire hose basket, a telephone, an automatic emergency lantern and an open hatch leading down to 2 deck. A vertical format negative.
