The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the crew's dining hall between 144 and 157 stations on 1 deck looking aft from the centreline forward showing two rows of five tables with bench seats and condiment cupboards are against the bulkheads above each table. Sliding doors are at the aft end of the space and a whereabouts diagram is mounted on one of the doors.
