The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the passage between 45 and 58 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking aft. On the left are a change over switch box and a fuse panel. Against the ship's side are three canvas covered cable stowage brackets. Next to the watertight door is an automatic emergency lantern. A vertical format negative.
