The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the passage between 45 and 58 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward. Against the ship's side are four canvas covered cable stowage brackets and a fire extinguisher. An automatic emergency lantern is against the forward bulkhead next to the door enclosing B 4.5 inch shell room and magazine spray isolating valve. Against the inboard bulkhead are a fuse panel and a change over switch box. A vertical format negative.
