The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the passage between 72 and 84 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward. On the right is the door to the Type 992 radar office. A tannoy loudspeaker, a transformer and various electrical panels are against the 992 office bulkhead. Against the ship's side are a whereabout diagram for section 72-84, a fire extinguisher and three canvas covered cable stowage brackets. An automatic emergency lantern is next to the closed watertight door at 72 station. Vertical format negative.
