The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the passage between 106 and 128 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking aft showing a number of canvas covered hose and cable stowage brackets, a fire extinguisher and a fire bucket against the ship's side. The open hatch on the right leads down to the gearing room and four fuse panels and a matching unit are on the bulkheads above it.
