The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the steam turbine engine room between 90 and 106 stations on 3 deck looking towards the lubricating oil control station. In the centre is a tool cupboard and beyond it are the lubricating oil filters and outlet valves. To the right of the tool cupboard is a Sunvic lubricating oil cooler outlet temperature unit. A cable stowage bracket is on the left with stairs leading up to 2 deck beyond it.
