The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the steam turbine engine room between 90 and 106 stations on 3 deck upper platform at about 100 station looking aft and to starboard over the port turbine. An acousti booth is on the left and a panel holding 18 gauges is just abaft it facing forward. Two 1200 gallon capacity tanks are against the aft bulkhead.
