The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the steam turbine engine room between 90 and 106 stations on 3 deck upper platform at about 100 station looking aft and to port over the starboard turbine. The back of an acousti booth can be seen on the centreline between the turbines. A panel holding 18 gauges is facing forward next to the acousti booth. Two 1200 gallon capacity tanks are against the aft bulkhead.
