The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the conversion machinery room between 64 and 72 stations on 4 deck looking aft and to port on the port side showing three metadynes and a motor generator with a large ventilation grill beyond them. Three Westinghouse rectifiers are against the ship's side. A fuse panel, a contactor panel and two other panels are against the aft bulkhead.
