The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the gyro compass room between 69 and 72 stations on the centreline of 4 deck looking to port and aft showing the gyro compass in the centre. An Admiralty gyro master compass amplifier rack is against the aft bulkhead on the right and two C.R.U. retransmission units are against the forward bulkhead on the left.
