The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is in the steam turbine engine room between 90 and 106 stations on a platform on 3 or 4 deck showing a work bench fitted with a Fortis F6 vice, an emergency connection box, a fuse panel, a starter panel, a telephone and an acousti booth. Stairs and a wire rope ladder lead up from the platform.
