The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is said to be in the steam turbine room between 90 and 106 stations on the starboard side of 4 deck but the photograph shows four oil burners. Various pipes and valves are marked 'Supply to burner No. 1', Supply to burner No. 2', 'Supply to burner No. 3', 'Supply to burner No. 4', 'Spill from burner 1', 'Spill from burner No. 3' and 'Spill from burner No. 4'. Two Foxboro power positioner units manufactured by Foxboro Yoxall Ltd of Redhill are close under the deckhead and another is on the right above the 'Spill from burner no. 1'. A vertical steel ladder is in the centre of the picture.
