The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay. The photographer is said to be in the steam turbine room between 90 and 106 stations on the port side of 4 deck but the photograph shows four oil burners. Various pipes and valves are marked 'Supply to burner No. 1', Supply to burner No. 2', 'Supply to burner No. 3', 'Supply to burner No. 4', 'Spill from burner 1', 'Spill from burner 2', 'Spill from burner No. 3' and 'Spill from burner No. 4'. A Foxboro power positioner unit manufactured by Foxboro Yoxall Ltd of Redhill is close under the deckhead. A vertical steel ladder is on the right close to an Auto-Klean unit.
